I'm a senior lecturer in the School of Computing at the University of Portsmouth. My specialist areas are Networking, Distributed Systems, Computer Architecture and Human Computer Interaction. I teach at degree and masters levels and also supervise student at BSc, MSc and PhD levels. I am course leader for MSc Information System and Admission tutor MSc for the school.
I worked for over fifteen years in the computer industry before taking up lectureship in 1997.
I am carrying out research in brain body interfaces for patients with traumatic brain injury. I am also carrying out research in networking and agent systems.
